Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Poetical Works of John Clark Ferguson
In consequence of the favourable manner in which the former editions of these poems were received by the Press, the Author, after a lapse of some years, has determined upon bringing out a new edition. He has also thought fit to add a few more short poems, viz., Hymn to the Creator, at page 67; Allonby Revisited, at page 74; and Lines to the Ocean, supposed to be written at Howth, near Dublin, at page 187. Trusting that these now mentioned may meet with a reception as favourable as that of the mass of the volume on its former.
