Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from The Pilot National Environmental Specimen Bank: Analysis of Human Liver Specimens

In 1975, an international agreement to share knowledge and samples between the United States and the Federal Republic of Germany was instituted and in 1981, a pilot environmental specimen bank was initiated in Germany. This international collaboration has led to a fruitful exchange of ideas and anaiytical intercomparisons which have demonstrated the comparability of data on an international scale.
