Each section within The Personal Pursuit of Progress contains a value which are important to the development of the individual. These values have been carefully chosen from the words of the prophets, apostles and of course, the Savior. Within each value challenges are suggested along with an opportunity to create some of your own. The values include: Spirituality: In this value, you are invited to set challenges to develop your faith, divine nature/individual worth, integrity and virtue. Physical: This value looks at the different aspects of your physical life including health, household/home and recreation. Financial: Within the financial value you are invited to participate in short-term, long-term and retirement goals. Family: Family is the center of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Developing relationships by setting goals with spouse, children and extended family in mind will aid in strengthening these fundamental relationships. Intellectual: This value focuses on knowledge/learning, creativity or hobbies and career development. Social: In this value, you are invited to set challenges to participate in service/good works, community relationships, neighborhood improvement and develop friendships. Patriotism: This value is an invitation to develop pride in your culture and your nation no matter where you are in the world.
