Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Payson, Dunton,& Scribner Manual of Penmanship
Our object in this Manual is to present to the teachers of our public schools and seminaries a strictly practical hand-book on the art of teaching penmanship. We have severely ah stained from all fine poetic ?ights, and even from the discus sion of mooted points; and have simply aimed to present the condensed results of the actual experience of the authors of the Payson, Dunton, and Scribner's system of penmanship with scholars in public and private schools throughout the length and breadth of the land.
