Publisher's Synopsis
Does curiosity kill the cat?
A cat named Leo's curiosity gets the better of him when he notices a strange van parked in front of his neighbor's house across the street. He sneaks closer to get a better look and discovers the neighbor's dog, Roofus, locked inside of the back. After getting captured while attempting to open the back door, he finds himself trapped in a burlop sack and sold to an underhanded laboratory that is secluded in the Colorado mountains. He must defy the odds against him as he and three other cats escape the horrors inside of the laboratory, fight through the predators of the wilderness, city life, criminals, and the lab's sinister efforts to conceal their secrets.
A team of scientists, lead by Senior Scientist Dr. Kenneth Brown, pursue the cats every step of the way with worries of the cats being exposed to an experimental virus created for an extremist group. McDowne Laboratory Inc. will stop at nothing to keep the lab's activities under wraps...no matter the cost.
