Publisher's Synopsis
For many centuries, scientists have explained the Origin of the Day, The Year and the Month, which are all said to be linked to the movement of the celestial bodies. The 24-hour Day happens when the Earth rotates on its own axis. Also, the Year occurs when the Earth rotates on its own axis and then revolves around the sun. The Month is linked to phases of the Moon. However, no one has ever explained the Origin of the seven-day weekly cycle. By using published medical and scientific data as premises for its arguments, this paper makes conclusions which explain how, when and why weekly rhythms first originated.
