Life is like a circle; it rotates around the positive and negative aspects of the world. In the process of its rotations, you meet people of different natures and behaviors that range from your loved ones down to meeting strangers. At times, life tends to throw at us situations that will eventually make us feel drained and make us want to give up on everything we are doing, but again, another life from the positive side of the world will just show up and everything will become absolutely normal again.
Life is like a tunnel, dark without lights, where you walk through, and at the end of it, you will see yourself coming out to see the lights, but that will only happen if you never stop halfway or if you never thought of giving up on moving forward. The odds of living in your dreams full of unimaginable appearances, successes, and love, then waking up to a reality of sadness and suffering is a feeling that is definitely unbearable, but like any other circumstance one faces in life, the faith and belief that nothing is absolutely permanent has made a lot of people much stronger and resilient to these odds that life throws at them.
"The Odds of Life" is a novel based on a true life story and it will eventually captures some of the difficulties the young adults face in the society, the lack of social support from even close friends and family members, dysfunctional social opportunities and the need for equal opportunities for all. Life is different for people who grew up the hard way, and it behooves all of us to collectively look out for one another and be kind to ourselves. Despite the numerous faults kindness brings to some people, let us just be kind, as the reward for being kind is pretty huge. This novel centers around a young adult, Hasshan, who grew up in a society deprived of social opportunities. He came from a middle-income family, but with other family members exposed to opportunities that they could not help and inaccessibility to achieve his dreams. He wanted to achieve so much in life, but with the limited opportunities at his disposal, he could not, and in his quest to find sustenance, Hasshan set out on a journey to find a missing piece of his life and get a clue as to why the numerous challenges and difficulties life decided to throw at him despite uneven efforts to combat them. The book will explore the life of this young man in chapters, and with each chapter's unique message, it will clearly communicate the message of this young man's life to the readers.
