The Fraternity is indebted to Moss 85 brother, the worthy publishers of this Work, for the idea Of an odd-fellows' text-book. At their suggestion, I have written and compiled this Volume. I need not advert to the labor it has cost me to prepare it: I will only say that I have endeavored faithfully to dis charge the trust confided to me.
