Publisher's Synopsis
In this collection of poetry and prose, The Natural Cycle of An Epicenter Heart takes the reader through the challenging, cyclical nature of being a twentysomething: love, heartbreak, mental health, addiction, relationships, self-discovery, establishing your career, etc. Much of this collection is an ode to nature and its natural cycles and seasons, how the world itself aids us in finding peace, self-identity, and beauty in life.
This collection consists of three sections. The first section would be "the perfect storm," exposing the revolving, unsteadying whirl of life as a twentysomething, how everything seems fine until it's not. The second section entitled "leaving the eye of the hurricane" shows the mental, physical, and emotional battle the writer is going through as she faces all these challenges - then tries to let go. The collection finishes with "finally the shore," highlighting the victories of the writer as she decides to be whomever she wishes to be.
