From the commencement, the work has been financially supported both by the Bath and West Society and by the Board of Agriculture, although the earlier grants made by the Board in respect of this particular work were not Specifically allocated towards it, but were merged in the general grant then made to the Society in respect of a good deal of educational work at that time undertaken by it. For the last four years, ending with March, 1903, the grant from the Board has been 1001. A year.
