Along with Aleid's father, they made up stories and little plays that they performed other people. To make their parting ways bearable, they invented John Arends: The Mystery of the Secret formula. Aleid and Yara are both in the third year of secondary school. Aleid in Groningen, and Yara in Leiden. The fictional John Arends is a writer and poet, psychiatrist and scientist.
