The articles being penned for both parties, and the King reading and considering the same, he was contented therewith, and sub scribed his part, and delivered it to the Lord ruthven, who sent the other articles to the Earl of murray, and the remanent being within England; and to the Earl of argile, and the remanent being with him in the west, who subscribed the same, and sent them to Lord ruthven to be kept till their meeting with the King, and every one to have their own part; the tenour whereof followeth.
