In the Spring of 2031, the earth's axis shifts towards the vertical and later the same year, a slight anomaly is discovered in the moon's orbit. Confirmed by astronomers, the potential effects for the earth are catastrophic. Once extinct volcanoes show signs of life while earthquakes and floods increase in frequency. With the climate spiralling into unpredictable changes, scientists and engineers work frantically on a project to recover lunar stability drawing on the whole world's resources, including the fight to stabilise the climate. It is the first time the entire human race has ever worked together as one. Everybody, except one man.
