Publisher's Synopsis
It is Halloween night, and Sam is ready for a Halloween party at Grandma's house! As she and her family step outside, Sam notices the big, bright full moon above. In the car, the night sky lights the way as the moon seems to follow Sam all the way to Grandma's. No matter which way the car turns, the moon keeps pace-whether it's winding through woods or making a beeline around curves.
Once they've arrived at Grandma's house, Sam is excited to tell her grandmother and friends all about the constant moon. As the kids have fun trick or treating, they excitedly peer up as the giant celestial orb seems to make a special effort to light their way from house to house. After an adventurous evening of collecting candy and enjoying the party, the group finally gathers for their goodbyes and to say thanks to the moon for all of its help throughout the night.
Patrick Foley's engaging tale will teach kids the wonders of nature while inspiring readers of all ages to never underestimate the magic of the world around them.
