This evaluation pack is part of a series designed to meet the requirements of the revised GCSE syllabus. It contains the core pupil's book and teacher's resource pack, which cover international relations from World War I up to the recent history of South Africa.;The pupil's book has a narrative, interspersed with depth studies, that focus on the USA from 1919 to 1941, Germany from 1919 to 1949, Russia from 1905 to 1941 and Britain from 1900 to 1951, using source materials. At the end of each unit there is a section on exam practice, providing questions to help pupils consolidate information and prepare for revision. The accompanying teacher's resource pack contains mark schemes for questions in the pupil's book, exam tips, activities, and advice from examiners on pupil responses. Activities to stretch higher attainers and to help lower attainers are included in the teacher's pack. There is also a foundation edition aimed at lower achievers, with the same content but a simpler text and activities.;The series also contains core and foundation editions of "Nazi Germany" and "Russia 1905-56".
