Oluwaseyi's father relocated the family to a village when extremists first began threatening in Northern Nigeria. However, the situation in the village was worse than the axis of evil from which the family fled. Illiteracy, moral decadence, idol worshiping, lack of healthcare and lack of basic education all ensured children and adolescents in the village never amount to anything in life. Oluwaseyi's mother lamented the choice of the village but culture and her own beliefs forbade her to act without her husband's consent. It took her twelve years to convince her husband to relocate the children from the village! As soon as her husband agreed he took ill, and was bed-ridden until death took him away. She must raise the children on her own! Against the odds, she pulled a pilot, and a nurse!
