Thu us we think it appears evident, that Mr. Codman' s conduct has been unjustifiable, - inconsistent both with the spirit and the letter of his Contract, - contrary to the unanimous wishes and expectations of his church and society at the time of his ordination, - aad directly cal culated to destroy that harmony and friendly inter course, which had jbr so many years subsisted among the churches in the neighborhood of his, as well as am their respective pastors and which his 'church, at the time of its establishment, so sacredly pledged itself to endeavour to support.
