Its whole course will be in the Pacific Ocean, from the island of Niphon, in the east of Asia, to Juan Fernandez, near the south west ern coast of South America. The only people of our terrestrial planet who will have an opportunity of witnessing this beautiful and sub lime phenomenon, will be the inhabitants of the aforesaid islands, and of the Sandwich and Society groups; except perchance some few others who go down to the sea in ships, and do business on the great waters.
