Strange events happen to Matt Pullman, a San Francisco, California veterinarian while preparing for a camping trip to his favorite mountain park with his dog Marlin. But that is only a foreshadowing of imminent disaster. During his hike, Matt becomes trapped in an underground maze where stranger, surreal experiences manifest themselves. Matt must overcome impossible odds, push himself to the limit, and compromise his principles to survive and escape his precarious situation.
