Julian and Stephanie were married for 31 years when Julian filed for divorce and left his family without notice, moving over 900 miles away. After being separated for a year, and just days before their final divorce court hearing, the Lord led them to reconciliation. Soon after attending a course together called "Married for Life," the Holy Spirit began to speak to their hearts about God's design for marriage. Julian was shown that marriage is like a castle, sitting on high ground. When a married couple is in relationship with Jesus, the castle becomes a fortress, fortified against attack. This is an urgent message that all couples, engaged or married, need to fortify their marital castle.
