Trying to cope with the death of his brother, struggling drug addict ROBERT BACKER decides to put aside his own issues and travel across the country in search for the answers to many unanswered questions surrounding the night his brother was gunned down. Even though the shooter was convicted in a court of law, Robert is convinced that the real killer is still out there, ready to strike again.
While Robert discovers new leads into his brother's closed case, he befriends a fellow addict who may know the identity of his brother's killer, as well as a young artist who takes a particular interest in Robert. However, one of his new friends is holding a secret darker than his very own, a secret that will put Robert in harm's way.
As Robert's search intensifies, taking him from the crime-infested neighborhoods of Richport to the upscale beachside mansions of New Town, a key witness comes forward, leaving Robert with no other option than to take the law into his own hands.
