There are seven books in the Mammoth Slayer series, this is the fifth. In the last book, the Cro-Magnons were trying to annihilate the Neanderthal people. In this story they come to power and the last Neanderthals would have been exterminated except for a few Cro-Magnons that were sympathetic to them.
This story has action, adventure, drama, heart-touching moments, and even a little humor sprinkled here and there. In addition, I believe you will fall in love with the characters, I know I did and so have some of my readers. This book is a continuation of "The Mammoth Slayers: The last Neanderthal." It takes place during the last Ice Age when men had to endure brutal weather and hunt dangerous animals just to stay alive. Besides the hardships they had to endure, there were times of triumphs and joy. They loved, they hated, they grieved, and they searched for happiness just as we do today. If you have enjoyed any of the previous books in this series you will also enjoy this one. The next book in the series is The Mammoth Slayers: The Final Chapter.
