Publisher's Synopsis
The pink lion finished her magical quest and married the King. She is now known as Queen Heartsafire. Her husband, a Christmas lion, known as King, Dragon Hearts has taken them on a journey to explain their past lives as dragons. It is his hope the journey will awaken his wife buried memories of her forgotten past life. Their journey starts out with joy and happiness as they meet up with the King's sister and then find a black dragon egg. They try to rescue a baby dragon from a volcano, but the baby dragon turns into the hero and rescues the King and Queen from the lava-filled cave. What should have been a celebration quickly turns into a diaster when the black dragon makes a fatal error in judgement during his firefly challenge? Heartsafire is heartbroken, and the black dragon is punished for his poor judgement. Just when everyone is feeling so down, another dragon egg is found on Hearts Island and a delightful little pink dragon is rescued. The dragons get ready and head back to Dragon Land so they can protect and train the two new dragons. Heartsafire, Randall, Dragon Hearts and Ginger MaMa wave goodbye as the dragons leave. This is book 2 in the Legengs of the FireFlies series.
