Massachusetts Nautical Training School was the armed schooner Enterprise. From her remarkably successful career in the brief naval war with France, 1799 - 1800; in the brilliant naval opera tions against the Barbary Powers, 1801 - 1805; and in the war with England in 1812 - 1814, she became familiarly known in the service as the Lucky Little Enterprise.
