Publisher's Synopsis
Some things are harder to forgive than others. Some people struggle to forgive more than others. Some people can't forgive. Some people are quick to forgive. I have noticed that I am faster in my forgiveness than I used to be. I used to hold grudges. God has helped me to let these things go.
There seems to be two primary focuses of forgiveness in the Bible. The first is asking God to forgive you. The second involves you forgiving others. Here are some of the chapter headings for the first: Hear and Forgive, Forgive and Teach, Forgive and Bring Back, Forgive for the Future, Forgive and Restore, and Forgive with Compassion. Here are some chapter headings for the second: If You Forgive, He Forgives; If You Don't Forgive, He Won't Forgive; Forgive from the Heart; Forgive the Repentant Brother; and Forgive the Repentant Brother Seven Times. It is good to remember that there will be no unforgiveness in heaven. God is a holy God, and He will not permit it. If He forgave us all, why would He allow us in heaven with even an ounce of unforgiveness? I pray that these brief studies will help you in being forgiven and in forgiving. May God richly bless you in His word.
