Publisher's Synopsis
"The Lion in the Colosseum" is a romantic drama-comedy about relationships, love, finding hope, navigating life, acceptance and the importance of taking chances. Jordan Moore, a young journalist in Chicago, finds out that his wife, Lauren, was involved in a fatal car accident. It's a jolt straight to his heart and as he rebuilds his life, he takes off for a new assignment in Coastal Point, a small town near the Gulf coast of Mississippi, in search for answers about the mysterious and aloof Dale Bowen. Meanwhile, Jordan decides to write a "good-bye" letter to Lauren (a personal letter that nobody will ever read) to help him overcome his loss since he never had a chance to say good-bye to her. As Jordan gathers facts for the new assignment, his life gets complicated when he meets a young woman, Kinsley Hayes, who offers to introduce him to Bowen if he will do something very important for her in exchange. "Heartfelt." "Feel-good." "A wonderful story."
