England at the end of the Sixties. Unemployed James Cassidy has been told that he has a Grasshopper Mind but he counts on his charm and the luck of the Irish when he replies to a job offer to skipper a luxury yacht through the French canals to the South of France, though he has never put foot on a motor yacht in his life.
