Publisher's Synopsis
Dwarves. Those feisty, beer loving, elf hating, barely five foot tall, bearded humanoids. Proud, though egotistical, honorable, though unforgiving, incredibly strong, though tenderhearted. None were braver, kinder or more stubborn than those sturdy, doughty, hardworking people known as dwarves.
This is the story of one of those dwarves. An extraordinary individual by the name of Thorgrim Longbeard.
You see, Thorgrim was born with a beard. He was also claustrophobic and afraid of spooks. What more could you ask for in a dwarf?
This book is the first in a series of four books based on the life of Thorgrim Longbeard.
It is a prequel (more or less) to the novel, "The Greatest Treasure in the World," however, a reading of the first novel is not required to enjoy Thorgrim's story.
