Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Latter-Day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 89: June 30, 1927
Even the Apostles had not entirely rid themselves of the tradi tions of their fathers. One effect of the Transfiguration was to impress upon the three that Christ was superior to the law and the prophets, there was Moses in person typifying the law, and there was Elijah who was esteemed as one of the prophets; and both of them were ministering unto Jesus, while the voice of the Eternal Father, directed to the Apostles especially, acknowledged Jesus as His Beloved Son, and commanded them to hear Him! They were no longer to be bound wholly by the ancient law, for that law was superseded by the ministry of Christ, They were to hear Him!
