Publisher's Synopsis
The war was over except for the crew of the T.S.S. Phoenix. Lost deep in enemy space, crippled but not dead. The great ship had the distinction of being the oldest and most formidable in the fleet. Yet, even the strongest warrior must yield to time and fatigue. The crew was feeling the strain as much as the old ship was. Their ranks diminished to a third, and their home being so much farther away than they ever expected, hope was hard to come by with each passing day. But they were the Phoenix, the crew of the ship that would not die. And they would be damned if they didn't give their all to make it back.
