After labours that are laborious, Gentle men, the woman sometimes recovers as readily as if, during the delivery, nothing extraordinary had occurred. It does, how ever, occasionally happen, and that, too, where the labours have been managed with the best p morbid symptoms are manifesting them selves, more especially during the first few days; and to the consideration of these symptoms, and their treatment, we shall now proceed.
