Sire and his friends have spent months fixing the Temple and honing their skills. With winter passing, the time draws near for them to leave Tadmor.
The Celestials who stand guard over the holy city in its abandonment have given them an important task: Go to the Island of Levad and find a component that was stolen from the Temple Heart so long ago: The Tree of Life. On their voyage, they will encounter the creations of the ancient Tyrian mages who abused and misused the Tree of Life's power: Terrifying hybrids of animal and human life that were never meant to exist. However, entities of dark and ancient evil also call this island their home. Sire will become intimately aware of the fact that the ability to heal and repair exceeds the all-too-easy path of destruction.
