As a singer, songwriter, and author from North Carolina, I would like to share a story with you, a story of a man from Tennessee who grew up with his Cherokee grandfather. Where he's from, how he grew up, who and what influenced and encouraged him. You will find this within the lyrics of the song "The Journey" as it is a song about his life. I would like to share my thoughts and the short stories behind the words, who and what inspired the story. I hope by writing this book I will be able to share my words, my thoughts, my song, and my stories with the world. Within the next fourteen chapters of the book, you will find the story of a man born in 1960. You can read his story starting from his birth throughout his life to the present. The following fourteen chapters tell the story of his journey, his life, his military service, and how the military basically took over his life completely through missions during combat deployments to top-secret covert missions assisting the FBI, CIA, and US Marshals. Through all the years, the good, the bad; the highs, the lows; the rights, the wrongs. From his first love to love lost and love found again. To a new love and a love that has never been forgotten. You can follow this Cherokee, this soldier, this man by getting inside his twisted mind. Each chapter tells the story of one phase of his life. As you read each chapter within the words, you will get to know the man known as Logan Nighthawk. I will also include the lyric sheet to the song "The Journey" as it was originally written one hot desert night in the southwestern desert of Arizona.
