By the time he was seven, Eli had already lost both of his parents, and was taken in by one of his dad's friends. While he had been through a lot, nothing had prepared him to fight demonic creatures known as Nyxids. As soon as he had entered this insane world, Grant, the man who had taken him in, his rock, mysteriously dies. Eli embarks on a journey in a world he isn't familiar with with powers he doesn't understand to solve the mystery of Grant's death. Along the way, Eli is joined by friends, some old, some new. They work together to solve the mystery, but sometimes, the more answers you get, the more questions you have.
