The Supreme Court is not only the legislative but it is also the Supreme governing body of the Order, and is the final court of appeal in all cases. It is composed of its oth cers, who are elected or appointed at each regular biennial session thereof, and the representatives elected by the High Courts in the various States and Provinces of the United States and Canada, and in the British Isles. Seven of the chief officers of the Supreme Court form the Executive Council, who in the interim of the Sessions of the Supreme Court, manage the affairs of the Order iii accordance with the provisions of its Constitutions and Laws.
