Publisher's Synopsis
No other women in the history of the early Christian Church has been so misidentified by Christianity as Mary Magdalene. The denigration of her character and the omission of her being an important disciple of Jesus' early ministry are still much in question today. By examining the Canonical Gospels, the Apocryphal texts, and other books written about Mary Magdalene, it is my hope that my research will lead to identify the significant role she played in the history of the early Christian Church.
