Publisher's Synopsis
The United States military is an expeditionary force which depends on forward operating bases to project power around the world. However, rising fuel costs and attacks on supply convoys are jeopardizing our ability to remain an expeditionary force. Our current electrical generation systems contribute to this problem due to the large quantities of fuel they consume. These factors coupled with our insatiable appetite for electricity place our fuel supply and thus our bases at increasing risk.
