This is the beginning of a journey made by a girl named Maggie and her family in discovering the truth about themselves and their responsibility in preventing the world from being swallowed by darkness. Taken from her family one night to the Otherworlds by a woman named Vivienne (who claimed to be her true mother), Maggie has a powerful dream of the Otherworlds being destroyed by an inferno of explosions and fire. Soon she finds herself being tasked by Vivienne to return with a group of teenagers to her sleepy town in Texas to save a device that Vivienne calls the Imaginaerium Engine... and she only has 5 days to do it!
