Publisher's Synopsis
During the 19 years of his chairmanship at the Architectural Association, Alvin Boyarsky transformed the school into a major international centre of architectural culture and education. His theories of education were exemplified through the establishment of a system of autonomous teaching units whose self-generated programmes encouraged the development of students' creative talent. This publication will provide a permanent record of the ideas and drawings generated within the school during these years and is a sequel to "Projects: Architectural Association 1946-1971".
