His volume does not deal with the War of the Rebellion, T except so far as the 1sth Conn. Was concerned, nor does it treat to any extent of the other armed bodies with which the regiment was brigaded. Its intent is to furnish in plain language an accurate, comprehensive account of the formation, membership and service of The Lyon Regiment in the defense of the Union.
