Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The History and Genealogy of the Cornish Families in America
The compiler of this imperfect history has not attempted to extend his researches beyond the coming of our ancestors to America. If this genealogy as it stands need apology, let it be understood that its purpose is a modest one, - to preserve the material laboriously gathered, in the hope that at some future time an abler genealogist may carry the work to completion. The one claim made for the records here presented is that they are reliable. In the few instances where a large probability takes the place of certainty full explanation is given.
