The Hero Training Program was originally a workout program that spanned 100 days and hit all areas of your body. I created it after my third year as a personal trainer in 2014 when I decided to make a groundbreaking program that would change the fitness world.
Sadly, I was hit with the reality that fitness is constantly evolving, and it would be foolish and arrogant of me to think I could create a series of workouts that would never need to be changed. It would be a lie to anyone who followed me because I continued to increase my fitness knowledge by learning new exercises, routines, and training methods yearly.
I deleted the initial program, and then, throughout the years, I wrote smaller routines that could be completed quickly and were easier to master. In 2021, towards the end of the global COVID-19 pandemic, I was promoted at my company to General Manager. Although this was a great milestone, I realized it meant nothing. The promotion only meant I was further removed from my passion for fitness, and now, as a middle manager, I was a whipping boy for the corporate office and the everyday bad guy for my team at the gym I was in charge of running. I chose to go against corporate multiple times to ensure that my team was not affected by rash decisions that didn't make any sense in the fitness industry, and I was starting to have the urge to venture off on my own again. I was successful but impatient as a private personal trainer and group exercise instructor.
