Love has multiple meanings but real love...true love...love that actually speaks to the heart...well, that's tricky. How do you even begin to explain the depth of heart-felt love? There's no dictionary with enough adjectives to describe the aspects/nature of true love. Is it butterflies in your stomach or more like the stomach virus? Maybe it's like walking through a field of your favorite flowers but every few steps you get pricked along the way. This book explores all facets of real love, inspired by real people. My poems are all inspired by true stories because, well, what is true love without the word truth? You will read about love at its best and its darkest. Some poems may push you to revisit a tough past but inspire you to push forward and move on. Some may remind you of the beauty and horrors of what once was, or still is.
