Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Graves of Myles Standish and Other Pilgrims
Though a stranger to the Pilgrims in many ways, I was not a stranger to them in sympathy, hope, and life, and I have always considered it a great happiness to have been able to add a little to what my predecessors had done in trying to preserve their memory. It was a work of affection, and I am glad to have the opportunity of dedicating this work to a descendant of the Captain of the Pil grims, who is in herself an epitome of the highest ideals of the Plymouth forefathers.
