The Crux family has always had a legacy of hunting vampires, but tragedy and decline have left the heir, Jebadiah Crux, to fulfill his master's dying wish. With a final Crux Christmas dinner planned, Jeb sets out to bring his family back together and end the ways of old.
The first stop is New Orleans, a city trapped in a mysterious fog. Its inhabitants are starving and on the brink of desperation. Jeb and his crew, including a former prey turned ally, must navigate the treacherous swamp and uncover the secrets behind the fog while confronting their own inner demons.
But lurking in the shadows are vampires, their thirst for blood and a cycle of hate threatening to engulf the city in darkness. Jeb begins to question whether the fight is worth it or if he should have stayed home. But with his brothers, Trent and Timothy Crux, in danger, Jeb knows he cannot give up.
As the fog thickens and the true threat is revealed, the Crux family must band together and face their biggest challenge yet.
