The silent phone call that always comes at 1:00 at night, is that you? That you I long to see again ...... In the winter of 1994, at a deserted level crossing in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, there were repeated incidents in which tram drivers saw figures attempting to cross the crossing; after braking sharply to check, there was no one around. This strange incident has become an unspoken secret among the drivers. At the same time, the editorial department of the magazine "Women's Friend" receives a photo of a woman who should not be there at the level crossing. At the request of the editor-in-chief, Matsuda, an ex-political reporter, reluctantly takes over the investigation of the photo. In the course of the investigation, Matsuda confirmed that there was no possibility of faking the photo, and that it was a genuine paranormal photo. The woman in the photo was murdered and dumped a year ago, but the police's investigation is stuck in a bottleneck, only finding out that the woman was a hotel hostess working in the Shimokitazawa area.
