Really nice pace and rhythm and good consistency in voice and level. The dialogue is natural and flows well. Really liked the characterization throughout -Candy Ball was great (love the name) and I loved how you showed (not told) Mum's sense of loss through a very touching scene when she set an extra place at the table. A nice sense of intrigue building about the mystical i-pad and the Holiday Snatcher - two great competing and complimentary plots! 6 stars highly recommended...-I liked your story and it is written in an easy to understand and accessible style. I think this will appeal to 8 plus year olds. The characters are becoming nicely developed. ... I like the endings of your chapters, leaving the reader guessing what is about to happen. Great. All-in-all, well done. All the best with this one.-Strong and fast flowing, with a good pace. I can see why young readers would be draw[n] to this. Colourful character with enough dialogue to keep up the read. Nice hook at end of chapters that make you want to carry on reading. Yes, I like this, well done -I have read the first two chapters of "The Ghost in my I-Pad" with a smile on my face. What a great story. Perfectly paced, beautifully observed, interesting to readers as well as listeners, and exciting. You have a wonderful hook at the end of chapter two. I give this high marks.-Scanning through the first few chapters, the writing is strong and the story is interesting from the start.
