Publisher's Synopsis
A different kind of vampire, zombie apocalypse, world-hopping romcom.
Houston-the first word spoken from the moon. Our trio traverses the dead and barren city in search of loved ones. They find kidnappers, corrupt military forces, visitors from another world, and zombies-of course. Oh, and a hurricane. In this one, James and Shae are sent to Houston to help out Drake, but along the way, they run into some people who've seen one too many Australian apocalypse movies. Meanwhile, Rhi gets herself sent to a world far from home. As she finds her way back, she discovers something she didn't know she'd lost. Then there's the two soldiers who show up from their own zombie apocalypse and James dated one of them? The nut running Ellington needs an attitude adjustment while the poor folks at JSC just need help. Then there's Shae's family to check on, some flying mech to dodge, and a hurricane to avoid. And just what the hell is Behemoth? This is a slice-of-life story. Granted, it centers on a group of vampires during the zombie apocalypse. But it is still just daily life for them, no matter how insane. This book is written to entertain. If you're looking for something to have fun with that includes a crazy, fourth-wall-breaking character, this is it. BUT BE WARNED: No, we didn't have a professional editor (couldn't afford one.) They say editing is never done; I've been editing for what seems like years now. I'm having to stop because the characters want me to keep telling their story and are tired of watching me run grammar/spelling checks. Yes, there are zombies in this book. And vampires. And other...things. Yeah, I know I'm talking in the plural because the characters in my head won't shut up for five minutes so I can finish this! Yes, this is Book 2 of the series. I know there have been some problems with the reading order on Amazon, but this is it, promise:Book 0: What Went Before the Gestalt (prequel)
