Publisher's Synopsis
After finally making it to the Hidden world, Rudy, Julianne, and the rest of the group are taken in by Maple's tribe only to find out that Maple's sister is the leader of the Tribe and has taken on the name Maplestar. Maplestar and the other tribe cats quickly realize what is wrong with Rudy and describe how a stream of Holy water that used to flow through the camp is the cure for the sickness, but the stream has mysteriously dried up a few seasons ago. Upon Rudy's dismay, Maplestar agrees for the group to stay with her tribe until they can find a cure for Rudy's illness. But with Maplestar the only one aware of Rudy's past, and the cure far away, the tribe does their best to help Rudy by day, but by night Mengele haunts his dreams making him believe that he will never reach the cure.
