The three Benson families are living their usual, unchecked, upper-middle-class lives when the dread of a trio of medical diagnoses involving Alzheimer's Disease, autism, and Cancer abruptly strike at the family's core. Simultaneously, the youngest Benson son, recently diagnosed with late-onset autism, is also discovered to be a child musical prodigy by a world-class, award-winning, concert pianist, who becomes his musical coach.
